The system consist of dilution chamber, Heat exchanger, receiver and Circulation of dilute acid pump(Optional) with associated glass pipelines, Valves & Fittings.

Dilution chamber is used for diluting concentrated sulphuric acid to the desired concentration and the heat exchanger is used for bringing down the temperature of dilute acid to desired temperature (When the concentrated acid mixed with water, large amounts of heat is released.) The Heat exchanger is either of Shell and Tube type or Coil type. The acid should be added slowly to cold water to limit the build-up of heat.
