R & D Infrastructure and Technical Capabilities


Actis Pharma has been set up with a clear objective of emerging as a technology leader in its product portfolio.
Spread over an area of 3000 sq. ft., the R&D lab is fully equipped with the latest fume hood systems with a variety of equipment ranging from lab hydrogenator to Rotary Evaporator.

  • 3 Fume hoods - 6 feet, with storage area for chemicals & reagents
  • 2 Island Benches - with washing provision and Glass ware storage
  • Large flasks / reactors - of 20, 50 & 100 litres assemblies
  • Rotary Evaporators - Heidolph
  • Pilot hydrogenator - 2 litres

Our strength is scientific pool and experience of our team which comprises of:

  • 2 PhDs with 15 to 25 years of experience
  • 10 M Sc. With 5 to 10 years of experience and
  • Other support staff

Their experience has been in handling various complex reactions ranging from hydrogenations to Suzuki couplings with ease.

  • Hetrocyclic synthesis (benzimidazole, indole, isoxazole, etc.)

  • Reactions involved LDA, n-BuLi, NaH, Borane in THF, BDMS, DIBAL, Vitride, CrO3 on commercial scale
