Vegesna Laboratories is a private limited
company promoted by V.V. Suryanarayana Raju, a Technocrat promoter and
also first generation entrepreneur. Raju is a graduate in Science and
with humble beginning as a Chemist with Dr. Reddy’s Labortories Limited
rose to Head of one of its plants quickly, due to his dedication and
commitment. Raju actively participated in setting up new facility from
conceptual stage to implementation, thus became obvious choice to head
the facility. With this got excellent scope to understand nitty-gritty’s
of overall operations of bulk drug manufacturing thus contributing
positively to DRL’s overall performance.
With his entrepreneurial skills and keen
zeal to set up independent activity left DRL in the year 1999 and
embarked on a small venture by name SRI GAYATHRI DRUGS PRIVATE LIMITED.
Not satisfied with small beginning and niche focus, set up one more
facility in the year 2003 called Vegesna Laboratories Private Limited in
Hyderabad to explore/harness the untapped potential for drug
intermediates.
Having proved its trust worthiness, Vegesna
became synonym for its quality, deliveries, commitment &
transparency thus automatically became dependable & reliable partner
paving way to DRL, Lupin and Orchid Chemicals entering in to long term
contracts for its existing and new products on exclusivity basis by
sharing their technology.
With customer base expanding manifold and
obviously demanding more products, the unit expanded further in the year
2008 in JNPC, Visakhapatnam. Here the focus was not only drug
intermediates, but also APIs.
This plant was designed keeping in view cGMP
requirements. It has WHO GMP and in conformity with US FDA guidelines.
In Jan 2015 we hived off Hyderabad facility,
because Pollution Control Board is proposing all the industries located
inside the outer ring road comes under Hyderabad, Rangareddy and
Sangareddy Districts may relocate to other place in a few years.

Be a responsible corporate citizen Safety Committee A committee is formed with Employees of the company which is headed by a Chairman for the committee who conducts the meetings and a secretary will be documenting the minutes of meeting and coordinating the meeting successfully and compliance of the same. There will be two types of memberships in the committee such as General member who set lead sub committees with safety committee members. Safety Committee is conducted on a frequency of once in 3 months. Advisory Committee A committee is formed with Employees of the company which is headed by a Chairman for the committee who conducts the meetings for the development of the company. The committee reviews the canteen services, Health & Hygiene of the employees. Latest advancements which can be reviewed and introduced into the system of the factory. Events and celebrations carried out in the company shall be organized under this committee which plans , coordinates with other departments and successfully complete these tasks. Advisory Committee is conducted on a frequency of once in a month. < |
